Submitting a request
Authorized law-enforcement agencies may email requests to helloamora.matchmaking@gmail.com with the subject line “LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUEST.” Email submission does not waive or alter any legally required method of service.
Information to include
- the requesting agency, officer’s name, badge or identification number, official email, and direct phone number;
- the relevant person or account, including known name, email, phone number, and date range;
- the specific records requested and the legal basis for the request;
- a complete, signed copy of the applicable subpoena, court order, warrant, emergency request, or other legal process; and
- any applicable deadline, nondisclosure requirement, or risk-of-harm information.
Verification and scope
Amora may verify the requester’s identity and authority, confirm legal sufficiency, request clarification, narrow overbroad requests, object to invalid process, or require properly issued and served legal process. We disclose only information responsive to valid process and available within our possession or control.
Preservation requests
We will consider lawful preservation requests that identify the account or person and records with reasonable specificity. Preservation does not guarantee that requested information exists and does not itself authorize disclosure. A preservation period may be limited unless extended through valid legal process.
Emergency requests
When an agency believes disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent death or serious physical injury, it should clearly label the request “EMERGENCY” and explain the nature of the emergency, the information sought, how it relates to the emergency, and why ordinary legal process cannot be obtained in time. Amora evaluates emergency requests individually and may disclose information only as permitted by law.
Client notice and safety reports
Amora may notify an affected person about a request unless prohibited by law, court order, or a reasonable safety or integrity concern. Separate reports involving trafficking, sexual exploitation, child safety, abuse, fraud, threats, or other prohibited conduct may also be investigated and reported to appropriate authorities.
International requests
Non-U.S. authorities may be required to use applicable treaty, mutual legal assistance, letters rogatory, or other legally recognized processes. Amora reserves all rights under applicable law.
